Web Editor+

Description

Xyleme is a Learning Content Management System that is used to create learning content. Its Web Editor is used to edit that content.

Web Editor+ is an extension for Chrome that enhances features in Xyleme's Web Editor and makes it run more smoothly. Web Editor+ has over 70 (and counting) fixes and improvements.

Web Editor+ has rebuilt its own Overlay and Image Map Editors as more stable alternatives. Additional enhancements include color palettes, format painter, object alignment, text alignment, hotspot previews, and the ability to bring objects forward and backwards.

Using Web Editor+, overlays are displayed directly in the Editor, enabling you to view them without the need to preview your content.

Web Editor+ includes a Web Component editor that simplifies the usage of interactive Web Components.

For various reasons, overlays in Xyleme can become misaligned when you preview or publish and don't reflect what you created. Web Editor+ detects misalignment issues and displays a warning. Web Editor+ also adds a button that instantly repairs these issues.

In the Content tab, Web Editor+ adds icons next to elements so that you can easily identify modules, lessons, containers, pages, topics, and other elements.

With Web Editor+, you can easily paste images directly from the clipboard without needing to manually upload it to the Media Manager.

Need a quick print version of a Web Course? Web Editor+ adds the ability to quickly convert a Web Course into a Single Source Project which can then be printed.
