This add-on allows business owners to manage a cluster of Google sheets with a goal to consolidate figure into a the master one. All Google sheets are built from a unique template.
Users access are defined automatically when you create files to consolidate.
In this way, confidentiality is preserved and different contributors can work separately on different spreadsheets fulfilling data confidentiality and data consistency with an automatic consolidation at different levels.
The consolidation is performed cell by cell depending on the aggregator specified on the model spreadsheet.
In terms of use case, this add-on is powerful for building a department budget or collect KPI’s. More generally for collecting formatted information from different services or group of persons.
HOW TO USE
1 - Create your consolidation Template in “Template” sheet
2 - Specify the folder where you want to store all the generated documents. You will be the owner of all these documents and the other permissions are set automatically depending on your configuration
3 - Create files to consolidate. When creating the files, you will need to specify a name and a list of contributors (sheet editors)
4 - Click on CONSOLIDATE after all contributors provided their input
PS: You can send emails all the contributors directly from the add-on notifying them to provide the information at the due date.
