Finch is a Chrome Extension which introduces you to different species from the island of Malta when you open a new tab.
The species will change every day, with over a hundred species to see.
Descriptions of each species are gathered in real time from Wikipedia. The photographs are handpicked from expert photographers which kindly provide their work under the CC license. Attribution is given in every image so you can deep-dive into more of their work.

The species in this app have been verified to occur in Malta through the Global Biodiversity Information Facility and have been reported as observed - meaning that you can see them too if you look hard enough... while in Malta
