At Astra we have been working on ways to help people manage their money by linking accounts together into useful dashboards and providing cash flow projections using Deep Learning, but what we have learned through our work is that while organizing the debt you have is useful, preventing you from having that debt in the first place is better.

Enter Astra Glance - a simple Chrome extension which leverages our custom API to pull transaction data based on the websites that you go to so that when you land on that beautifully designed web page from that company named after a river, and are enticed by the deals and the fast shipping, you will first have to confront the reality that you have spent $1,500 there this year, $200 this month and are on trend to spend more there this month than last. If you want to still buy that USB-powered coffee warmer, by all means do, but at least now you do so with the proper information at your fingertips.
