Only for temporary use, you can remove gray background from Google Maps, where it has dark background and hangs with error message "for development purposes only".
That is the critically important for some case, when website owners haven't updated their GOOGLE MAPS API, and for that reason, visitors are unable to see the MAP normally (because of covered black overlay).
With this extension, (when you click icon while you see such map), you can temporarily view the normal map with, so the black background will be removed from map.
