The extension may require access to website data permission in order to attach the TMate widget into the web page. The reason is, the extension needs to get the url of your tab to figure out if it matches any TMate channel that your team defines in TMate workspace. We only use TMate channel info to communicate with our system. We DON'T collect or share your personal browsing activity.
