Chrome extension that enhances the productivity of the fb places editor https://www.facebook.com/editor
This extension in puts the normal fb editor map inside a box to the right of the main editor. It then adds controls to lookup the current editing node in bing.
v.0.1.0 adds reverse geocoding and an improved sorting algorithm for nearby places. In addition, the number of checkins at the place being edited is displayed giving one insight into how popular a place is before editing it.
v.0.1.1 fixes a small bug, includes some cautionary text on the accuracy of GPS, and includes a link to Google maps for the node being edited.
v.0.1.2 fixes a bug that caused the extension to fail to notice the switch to new places when the user selected a different scope of places to edit. (ex: "Places my friends checked-in to" switching to "Places I checked-in to")
Note that since Facebook has generally removed the ability to report duplicates in the places editor the "Report" button is currently not very useful.
The extension is free and open-sourced under an MIT license. The github project is at https://github.com/CombatChihuahua/fb-places-pro, please feel free to fork the code and add your own features.
