This extension adds back some of the Roblox Forums that were removed on December 10th, 2017. It allows you to read, post, and reply to many posts.
This extension adds the following categories: Roblox News & Discussion, All Things Roblox, Help, Suggestions & Ideas, Roblox Talk, Off Topic, Clans & Guilds, Let's Make a Deal, Game Marketing, Game Design, Scripters, Scripting Helpers. All posts from those categories have automatically been imported into the website, and postcount history for all users should be the same as it was before the forums were removed.
To prevent abuse, and to preserve threads for historical purposes, you cannot reply to threads created before the forums were shutdown. You can, however, make your own thread and/or reply to threads made by other people using this extension.
Some cool features:
- Flood-check of 30 seconds per post (to prevent abuse)
- Ability to view nearly every post as long as you have the PostID
- Automatic redirect of the old "forums.roblox.com/Forum/ShowPost.aspx" URL to the extension's post URL
- Postcounts (imported from the old Roblox Forums)
- Active moderation to prevent abuse
- You will be automatically signed in once you add the extension, so you do not have to "copy and paste a code" onto your profile or anything else.
Note: The UI is identical to an extension I made a few months ago called "Unofficial RBXCity Forum Integration". I have since removed that extension since it broke and I didn't want to deal with updating it every time RBXCity made changes. This new extension I have made is completely self-hosted by me, so the only way it will break is if I intentionally let it break.
Extore is a team of professionals who are passionate about creating extensions for web browsers. This devotion also gives us opportunity to appreciate work of other people. We get inspired by useful, open source extensions made by developers all over the world. Our strong belief is that one should share helpful add-ons with others. That’s why we’d like to present you our ever-growing list of favourite extensions that have inspired us. Moreover, as you probably have already learned, sometimes struggling for the best brings an end to the good. Talking about add-ons it often turns out that an upgrade is worse then previous version. Also it can become really tricky to get back to the beloved version of your favourite extension. That’s why we’re going to make not only the latest, but all versions of our favourite (and we hope yours too) add-ons available for download. No more compromises, just stick to the version you really like!
