The Four extension changes the default size of tab characters from eight to four, and it works well for websites like GitHub and Pastebin. Some people might find the smaller tab character size more pleasing to the eye when viewing code etc that uses tab characters for line indentation.
The extension injects a simple stylesheet into the DOM, it does nothing more than that and has no interest in the websites you visit.
