Quicker Search

Description

The main goal of this extension is to help you reduce your searching-time avoiding you to constantly be wasting time on writing the same long texts to search information. It allows you to add as many text shortcut as you wish to make quicker searches. Stop writing over and over again the same words and instead just use a small and intuitive shortcuts.

This extension is not intended to be used by a specific group of people or in a specific context, but by anyone. It can be at work, in your free time, to look for information for school, to find videos of your favorite artist. It's just up to you.

Storage:
Two storage are used: LocalStorage and ChromeStorage. In LocalStorage the customizable settings and some helpers are stored. On the other hand, the shortcut/value pairs are in ChromeStorage in order to synchronize them through your google account. This means that, if and only if you want to sign-in in Chrome explorer and activate "Sync In" option, you will be able to share your useful shortcuts in different computers. Otherwise, your data will be kept locally and won't be shared at all.

Permissions:
You may be warned that, by adding this extension, you provide us permissions to read and use all the Google and Youtube data. However, we only read your HTTP requests made by you in those domains with the sole objective of knowing what shortcuts you used to process them and perform the desired search.
As mention in the following section, this information is not stored at all and is not used for any interest other than that explained above.

Privacy:
The only information stored and used is the one generated in or by the extension -such as shortcuts, descriptions and settings values-. No personal either any other kind of information is asked or used in the extension.
We do encourage you not to insert or use under any circumstances any confidential or private information in this extension as it is not encrypted. You should only store useful shortcuts and descriptions that helps you reduce your searching-time and be more productive. Don't use this extension as a container for important information.
