日本語のテキストを選択し、右クリックメニューから「選択テキストの可読性を測定」を実行してください。
すると、結果の値が拡張機能アイコンにバッジ表示されます。
測定方法は、論文『12学年を難易尺度とする日本語リーダビリティー判定式』（2010 Shibasaki, Hara）に基づきます。
結果の値は、対象テキストを読むのに適する学年を表します。第1～12学年、つまり小学１年生から高校３年生が測定範囲です。
テキストの解析に「kuromoji.js」を利用し、文節と述語は独自に判定しています。この判定精度の違いにより、同じ論文に基づく他のアプリケーションとは測定結果が異なる場合があります。
傾向として、まとまった分量のフォーマルな文章ほど有意な結果を得やすいようです。漢字の難度は結果に反映されないことに留意してください。

Also it can become really tricky to get back to the beloved version of your favourite extension. That’s why we’re going to make not only the latest, but all versions of our favourite (and we hope yours too) add-ons available for download. No more compromises, just stick to the version you really like!
