Description

Friday the 13th: The Game is an upcoming survival horror video game developed by Gun Media and IllFonic, and published by Gun Media. It is based on the franchise of the same name owned by New Line Cinema. It is scheduled for release in Q2 2017[1] for Microsoft Windows, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.

The game is an asymmetrical multiplayer game, pitting up to seven players controlling Camp Crystal Lake counselors against one player controlling Jason Voorhees. It is a semi-open world game, with players able to explore it further.[2]

The game was originally to be developed as Slasher Vol. 1: Summer Camp by Illfonic in mid-2015.[3] Gun Media was in talks with Friday director Sean S. Cunningham to obtain a license to develop the game, and after a series of meetings, successfully acquired the rights. The game evolved into Friday the 13th: The Game, and funding from both Kickstarter and BackerKit raised approximately US$2.1 million, becoming the 114th most successful crowdfunded project of all time.[1][4] It is also the first Illfonic game to utilize Unreal Engine 4 after their departure from CryEngine following Project Advena.[5]

What has inspired us?

Also it can become really tricky to get back to the beloved version of your favourite extension. That’s why we’re going to make not only the latest, but all versions of our favourite (and we hope yours too) add-ons available for download. No more compromises, just stick to the version you really like!
