This extension fixes an issue with gmails PDF-previewer which causes mailto-links not to function correctly, for instance if the pdf contains the following mailto-link: <a href="mailto:[email protected]"> gmails PDF-previewer changes that to <a href="https://mailto:[email protected]"> which results in opening the webpage "https://test.com".
This extention removes the "https://" from the mailto-link and makes it work again.
NOTE: This issue only occurs when clicking on a mailto-link when viewed from gmails PDF-previewer. The mailto-link usually works fine if first opened in an external PDF-program (ex Acrobat Reader).
