HideMyFootprint blocks over 2000 domains which track you, as well as many other tracking techniques including:
- Canvas Fingerprinting
- WebRTC Leakage
- URL Parameters (beta)
- E-Tags (beta)
- User-Agent identification (beta)
- Hyperlink Auditing
- Referrer headers

HideMyFootprint also blocks a large amount of ad servers, making ads a rare occurrence which in turn, speeds up your web experience, or if you choose too you can remove URL parameters from the requests to confuse the ad servers.

I wrote this so I could have one extension installed to block the majority of tracking domains and methods used by them, also I know how it works so I know that none of the data is being send off to some third party.

If you think that 2000+ domains isn't enough you can donate to receive access to the premium block list which contains 14,000+ domains, I update the lists quite often and so you'll always be protected.
