Description

Star important tabs, and close all the tabs you no longer need with just a keypress, like a boss.

Instructions:
Press Ctrl+Shift+S to star or unstar a tab. When pressing Ctrl+Shift+X, all unstarred tabs will be closed. For Mac users, use Command instead Ctrl.

Why is this useful? Because you can keep the important tabs on, like Google Calendar and Gmail. During some research, you may open up more than 20 tabs and only find 2 of them to be helpful. Star them, and cleanup all the mess like a boss. Remember to unstar a tab when you're done with it!

Changelog:
1.0: Basic star/unstar functionality, Ctrl+Shift+X to close unstarred tabs
1.1: Added Ctrl+Shift+S as the keyboard shortcut for toggle star for current tab.
1.2: Save starred tab on window closing and those websites will stay starred next time you open them.

Planned future features:
1. A list of favorite urls that are always starred until you remove them from the list. (e.g. your Gmail and Google Calendar page)
2. Customizable keyboard shortcuts in case of shortcut conflicts.
(And you can email me at [email protected] to tell me what you want)

What has inspired us?

Extore is a team of professionals who are passionate about creating extensions for web browsers. This devotion also gives us opportunity to appreciate work of other people. We get inspired by useful, open source extensions made by developers all over the world. Our strong belief is that one should share helpful add-ons with others. That’s why we’d like to present you our ever-growing list of favourite extensions that have inspired us. Moreover, as you probably have already learned, sometimes struggling for the best brings an end to the good. Talking about add-ons it often turns out that an upgrade is worse then previous version. Also it can become really tricky to get back to the beloved version of your favourite extension. That’s why we’re going to make not only the latest, but all versions of our favourite (and we hope yours too) add-ons available for download. No more compromises, just stick to the version you really like!
