The Trustie extension places a small icon in the top right corner of your browser. The icon will be red, yellow, or green, depending on the trustworthiness of the article or web page you are looking at. Clicking on the icon will give you details!
Trustie uses an Artificial Intelligence to evaluate the articles you read online, and let you know if the article seems trustworthy. We evaluate the language and writing style, including the headline to determine if the article uses sensational language, clickbait headlines, and other suspicious writing methods. We also look at the source and topic of the article to help us determine trustworthiness!
Trustie doesn't check facts, it only looks at the writing style of the article to let you know if it's suspicious or seems legit.
