Esta extensión permite dar la orden a una aplicación local para que realice la descarga de estudios DICOM. Esto se realiza de la siguiente forma:
1. La extensión realiza un llamado a un API REST, el cual retorna un JSON con los datos la generar la URL.
2. La extensión genera una URL y abre un nuevo tab con la URL generada La URL es del tipo osirix:// ó radiant:// o alma 4.X.
3. La URL es reconocida por el software osirix el cual realiza la descarga del estudio DICOM según la configuración de los nodos de consulta.
4. La extensión llama a un API REST marcando como descargado el estudio.
