Chrome extension that allows us to unsubscribe directly from timeline (Currently Facebook only) PM. If you want to have this in other social media like twitter / reddit and so on, please share with me your thoughts.
Facebook require us to use painful way when don't want to see something anymore, first we need to click on 3 dots, then wait for asynchronous call to Facebook server, then try to find text for unsubscribing. Sometimes it's even hidden inside a "more options" sections. That's a lot of work to do actually, which prevents us from filtering what we read and see. I believe that people should have control over the flow, we should be able to hide media directly from the timeline, that's why I made this extension.
It's a lightweight JQuery + small script (90Kb in total) that triggers on scroll event. That's it. Extension is not tracking anything, it's opensource, you can check it here:

Extore is a team of professionals who are passionate about creating extensions for web browsers. This devotion also gives us opportunity to appreciate work of other people. We get inspired by useful, open source extensions made by developers all over the world. Our strong belief is that one should share helpful add-ons with others. That’s why we’d like to present you our ever-growing list of favourite extensions that have inspired us. Moreover, as you probably have already learned, sometimes struggling for the best brings an end to the good. Talking about add-ons it often turns out that an upgrade is worse then previous version. Also it can become really tricky to get back to the beloved version of your favourite extension. That’s why we’re going to make not only the latest, but all versions of our favourite (and we hope yours too) add-ons available for download. No more compromises, just stick to the version you really like!
