Simple Material New Tab is my take on a Chrome new tab page. Extension replaces "Favorites" with two cards:
- Bookmarks (loaded from Chrome's "Other bookmarks" folder)
- Apps (packaged apps and webapps installed in Chrome)
Extension also offers faster access to most important Chrome features (eg.: Bookmarks, Extensions, Flags, History, Downloads, Webstore and more) and visual customization.
Extension is build using Polymer 1.2 and is fully open-sourced and source is available from Github:
