This tool allows you to set a limit for how many tabs you can have open (across all windows) at once.
This is done so that you do not open too many tabs at once when trying to research something, ending up with a clutter of tabs and no clear direction. Instead, this extension encourages you to close other content to focus on whatever you are doing. Alternatively, this can be a good tool if you want to speed up your browsing experience, as more tabs = more RAM = slower computer.
The extension should be pinned to the toolbar, as a badge will show up telling you how many tabs in total you currently have open. If you are well below the limit, the badge is green; otherwise, the badge will be orange, or red if you are very close to your set limit. You can change the limit by right-clicking the extension and clicking Options.
This extension is open-source, and will always be. Check out and star the repo here:

Extore is a team of professionals who are passionate about creating extensions for web browsers. This devotion also gives us opportunity to appreciate work of other people. We get inspired by useful, open source extensions made by developers all over the world. Our strong belief is that one should share helpful add-ons with others. That’s why we’d like to present you our ever-growing list of favourite extensions that have inspired us. Moreover, as you probably have already learned, sometimes struggling for the best brings an end to the good. Talking about add-ons it often turns out that an upgrade is worse then previous version. Also it can become really tricky to get back to the beloved version of your favourite extension. That’s why we’re going to make not only the latest, but all versions of our favourite (and we hope yours too) add-ons available for download. No more compromises, just stick to the version you really like!
