When a score is positive, it starts with a plus sign ("+"). This plus sign is right next to the down-vote button. The mixed message in this iconography has often caused users to click on the down-vote button when they meant to click on the up-vote button. This extension fixes that problem by placing the score between the two vote-buttons. We'll see if a negative score will cause more accidental clicks of the up-vote button. In my 2 years as a Number Ones participant, I have yet to see anyone write that they accidentally up-voted a comment.
