UMD Social Scheduler is browser extension that allows you to link your Facebook account to the UMD Scheduling website. UMD Social Scheduler displays relevant information about your Facebook friends' schedules while you are browsing the scheduling website, which allows you to view which of your Facebook friends are in your classes and more easily share your schedule with your friends.
After you connect with Facebook,
1. On the course listings page, a clickable friend icon appears next to each class/section in which one or more of your Facebook friends or people you may know is enrolled.
2. On the student schedule page, a listing of all friends or people you might know enrolled in the classes that comprise your schedule appears below your schedule.
3. On the student schedule page, a share button appears that, when clicked, posts a cropped image of your schedule to your Facebook wall.
UMD Social Scheduler is fully integrated into the scheduling website, so no manual input is required. Simply install the extension and you are ready to go!
