You need to have a Calcbench account to use this Add-on. You can sign up for a two week free trial @ https://www.calcbench.com/join. Your username and password for the Google Sheets Add-On are your Calcbench credentials.
Set your credentials in the Add-on by clicking on Add-ons->Calcbench->Log in.
Once you have logged in you can get data by entering formulas of the form-
=CalcbenchData({metric}, {ticker}, {year}, {period})
For instance to get Google's annual revenue for calendar year 2013-
=CalcbenchData("revenue", "goog", 2012, "y")
