The extension itself is intended to automate the process of planning standard changes within the ServiceNow platform to meet the ITIL definition of a standard change. Currently the Templating functionality of service now is limited to short mutli-field macro's which are difficult to use for any large scale amount of templates. The Objective of this chrome extension is to enhance how service now is used to assist organisations to align with the ITIL standard.
A standard change is a pre-authorized change that is low risk, relatively common and follows a specified procedure or work instruction. A standard change is one that is frequently implemented, has repeatable implementation steps, and has a proven history of success. As Standard changes are pre-approved, they follow a stream lined process in which group level or peer approval and CAB authorization steps are not required

By using a published Standard change database with pre-defined customised feilds (e.g. Username,Shared Drive . .) implementing standard changes is standardised. It requires staff to know what information to gather ahead of time with the named variables you specify while also preventing staff blind copying and pasting leaving the template placeholder name in. It filters templates for relevence based on your change type which not only can be searched but automatically selects the customer specific version of a change when it's avaialble.
It makes writing a high quality change request for your standard changes faster than writing a poor quality one.
Extore is a team of professionals who are passionate about creating extensions for web browsers. This devotion also gives us opportunity to appreciate work of other people. We get inspired by useful, open source extensions made by developers all over the world. Our strong belief is that one should share helpful add-ons with others. That’s why we’d like to present you our ever-growing list of favourite extensions that have inspired us. Moreover, as you probably have already learned, sometimes struggling for the best brings an end to the good. Talking about add-ons it often turns out that an upgrade is worse then previous version. Also it can become really tricky to get back to the beloved version of your favourite extension. That’s why we’re going to make not only the latest, but all versions of our favourite (and we hope yours too) add-ons available for download. No more compromises, just stick to the version you really like!
