Description

Trenolar is an extesion for the Polar Flow website.
A logged in user with a Polar device can select a sport profile for Trenolar to work on.

Once a profile is chosen, you can use Trenolar to update the pace settings for that profile without the need to browse to the sport profiles edit page of the Polar Flow website.

The main goal of Trenolar is to allow you to upload a json file containing a training session with up to 5 paces. This will update your chosen sport profile pace settings and create a phased training target using the sport profile.

Trenolar works within the boundaries of the Polar Flow abilities. On the Polar Flow website you can only create a phased training using a sport profile and you can only select the 5 pace zones of that sport profile to run in. The same restrictions apply to Trenolar. Trenolar only simplifies the required steps for you by adjusting your pace zones (lower limits) and creating a phased training that uses those zones. Trenolar sets up you paces and zones per phase in the training so that you get a warning from your watch when you go too fast/slow.

At the moment you can create a training json file here:
https://trenolar.azurewebsites.net

In the future, it's possible that the Trenara training app (https://trenara.com) will include an export option for Polar that will create the json to upload without the need to create this file manually.

What has inspired us?

Extore is a team of professionals who are passionate about creating extensions for web browsers. This devotion also gives us opportunity to appreciate work of other people. We get inspired by useful, open source extensions made by developers all over the world. Our strong belief is that one should share helpful add-ons with others. That’s why we’d like to present you our ever-growing list of favourite extensions that have inspired us. Moreover, as you probably have already learned, sometimes struggling for the best brings an end to the good. Talking about add-ons it often turns out that an upgrade is worse then previous version. Also it can become really tricky to get back to the beloved version of your favourite extension. That’s why we’re going to make not only the latest, but all versions of our favourite (and we hope yours too) add-ons available for download. No more compromises, just stick to the version you really like!
