Adler Law Group represents many families and businesses on an individual basis against Pacific Gas & Electric for the November 2018 Camp Fire. The Camp Fire destroyed parts of Paradise, Magalia, Concow, Pulga, and nearby towns. Initial investigation of the cause of the fire shows that a component of a high voltage transmission tower that was nearly 100-years old may have failed. That failure caused the power lines to collapse, igniting the brush below. Additionally, PG&E planned, but cancelled, a de-energizing of the power lines, which could have prevented the Camp Fire. The Camp Fire, which was avoidable, destroyed over 16,000 structures, displaced thousands of individuals, and killed over 80 people. PG&E has a long history of negligent maintenance which has led to many fires in the last decade, including the 2015 Butte Fire and 2017 North Bay Fires. Our lawyers represented the largest group of individual plaintiffs in these prior cases against PG&E.
