The Add-On uses a neural network as a foundation to calculate a heuristic store. With this score a feedback for the chosen password is displayed, as well as a rating bar. You can choose if the Add-On should calculate your existing passwords or it should not. You can personalize the Add-On so the Add-On can make sure you are not using any personal information in your password, because it is easier to guess. But the Add-On itself won't save the personal information, it uses a so called bloom-filter for persisting the personal information without actually saving the data. Also the data will only gets saved locally.
