when activated, interrupts the built-in internet download manager to direct links to IDM
This extension integrates your browser with the well-known Internet Download Manager (IDM). To send downloading jobs to IDM, first, enable the extension from the toolbar button and then proceed as normal.
Note: To be able to pass download links to IDM, you need to install a minimal native client application. This application is a bridge between your browser and operating system. The native client also is used to start the external download manager when no open instance is detected.
Note: This extension is only a connector to send downloading jobs to IDM. It is not the actual external download manager. Before using it make sure you have IDM installed on your operating system and double check the path in the options page.
