This Extension currently removes the following things from your facebook page:
- The suggestions box that shows annoyingly what to do with your friends
- The ad box
- The connect with friends box
- Hides the ads on the sides of profile pages

This extension now allows user customization of what they want to disable. Just click on the icon that's shown at right of the location bar and select/deselect what you want to remove/show.
This is a port of a similar greasemonkey script I use. If you don't want to enable user-scripts in chrome and still want to remove the annoying things on facebook sidebar, you can use this. This will be updated further.
