Para los que quieren mantener limpio su historial de navegación, History eliminator lo elimina automáticamente. Cada vez que abras Chrome, encontrarás el historial vacío.
Durante la navegación el historial está disponible, pero luego de cerrar Chrome, al abrirlo de nuevo el historial está vacío.
Es extremadamente simple. No tiene botones ni opciones. No las necesita.
Atención: cuando lo instalás borra el historial.
Si hiciera falta inhabilitarlo, clic en la llave de tuercas, Herramientas, Extensiones, y en History eliminator, clic en Inhabilitar. A partir de ahí el historial se registrará normalmente. Para volver a habilitarlo se procede de manera similar.

Nota técnica para programadores: Según un bug reportado hace mucho tiempo, Chrome no provee (todavía) un mecanismo que asegure la ejecución de eventos al cierre de la aplicación. El código de esta extensión es sumamente sencillo, no está ofuscado, y puede ser revisado por quien lo desee inspeccionando background.html.
