This extension is made to work with nikeplus.nike.com and specifically with the activity details.
Have you noticed that nike always displays the speed in pace? Of course its the official running measuring unit but for people who mostly care about KM/H or MIL/H its pretty annoying.
This extension will enable a new view block on screen which will display the speed in KM/H (or MIL/H depending on your nike settings).
