Description

Plank lets you trade your Steam items with other users. Plank supports Bitcoin & Paypal. Plank does not use trading bots to hold your items and does not hold your money.

Plank integrates with Steam to transfer Items directly from buyer to seller. Plank verifies the successful completion of the trade and then releases the funds from buyer to the seller automatically.

HOW IT WORKS
=============

New User
---------------
* You register with your email address and choose an encryption password.
* Then you connect your Steam account

Create Listing
---------------------
* The seller creates a new listing by selecting items from their Steam inventory, and setting a price in US Dollars for the trade. Each listing has a unique URL than can be shared.
* The seller shares the listing on Reddit, Facebook, Twitter, or other trading sites.
* Seller can specify what means of payment are accepted. The supported methods are Bitcoin and Paypal. If Paypal is chosen, Plank guides the Seller to connect and verify their Paypal account.

Buying
-----------
* The buyer visits the listing page. and adds the listing to cart.
* The buyer clicks the Buy button in the extension on the item in cart.
* Upon clicking Buy,
** Bitcoin: the listing amount is transferred from the Buyer’s Plank balance to a multi-signature bitcoin escrow address.
** Paypal: buyer authorizes the payment, but payment is not executed at this time. If the buyer's Paypal account is not connected, Plank guides the buyer to connect and verify their Paypal account before placing the order and approving payment.

Delivery
------------
* A Steam trade request is sent to the Seller, as well as a Plank notification to the seller that their listing has a Buy order.
* The Seller opens the Plank extension and clicks the Start Delivery button. This accepts the Steam trade offer.
* At this point, the seller will need to confirm the trade using Steam Guard — either through their Steam mobile app or via the email notification. If the Steam Mobile App is not enabled, Steam places a 3 day hold on the items.

Confirmation
--------------------
* Plank confirms the items have been transferred from the Seller’s to the Buyer’s inventory.
* Once this happens, funds are released to the Seller
** Bitcoin: Money is released to the seller's Plank Bitcoin balance.
** Paypal: Money is directly transferred to the Seller's Paypal account.

Adding & Withdrawing Bitcoins
--------------------------------------------
* Before buying an item, users need to have sufficient balance in their Plank balance.
* To add money, navigate to the Manage Money section of the extension, and send Bitcoins from an external wallet (e.g. your wallet at Coinbase, Circle, Blocchain etc.) to the address on the Add Money tab
* To withdraw money, you go to the Withdraw tab in the Manage Money section and enter an amount and the external Bitcoin address (e.g. your wallet at Coinbase, Blockchain, Circle etc.) to send your money to.
