Reddit No Participation is a simple browser extension that prevents you from ever being tempted to participate in any way on http://www.reddit.com. The comment box is hidden, the voting arrows are hidden, submission links are hidden.
Reddit is an easy and diverting time-sink but the community suffers from "Eternal September", a never-ending influx of vulgar, mean-spirited, and thoughtless users which make it an effort in futility to actually participate in discussions. Nevertheless it is always tempting to "correct" a user when you spot a perceived mistake or incorrect fact, and become entangled in the never-ending flame wars. With this extension, you will never be tempted again, as there is no opportunity to reply. Now you can only read the site and shake your head, thankful you aren't caught up in the silliness of it all.
