This extension brings to Chrome user experiences which are likely to be desired.
Discard/suspend tabs on session/window restore. When this feature is enabled, only active tabs get loaded, while others stay suspended until you navigate them. This feature is most applicable for low internet bandwidth or machines with weak CPU or when too many tabs are open. So extension enforces Chrome to behave as other browsers do.
Discard arbitrary tab: unload heavy or disturbing page in order to return back to it when you are ready.
Open downloaded file locally and don't store it for one time review. Maintain downloads directory clean. Chrome has no option to open file instead of saving. The extension allows this. First, you download a file as usual. Then notification offers you to open file. If you agree to proceed, it will be removed automatically in an hour, or, if failed (in case Chrome is not launched, file is locked, etc.), on next Chrome startup.
