This is a simple add-on to help you easily get the URL of your Form template, so that you can share your template with others. Other Form creators can then copy your Form to their own Google Drive, modify the Form and distribute to their target respondents.
Furthermore, to protect your original Form after shared the template, you can set your file’s sharing setting to ‘Anyone / Anyone with Link can VIEW only’ with this add-on. (In general setting, you can only set to ‘can EDIT’ on Form).
Example use:
A Science teacher created a Google Form quiz on the topic of ‘photosynthesis’, he/she can share this quiz template with other Science teachers, so that they can simply edit the questions (if necessary) and distribute to their students.
