United States:
For example, if you click at United Airlines on Levis.com and then shop, you will get 600 points for every $100 spent. Note: You will still be shopping at Levis.com and not a terrible airline shopping portal.
1) You can get points at literally every website you shop - JcPenney, Walmart, Target, Macy's, Levi's, Wrangler and a 1000 more stores.
2) You can compare which airline offers the most points and decide to store your points there.
India:
If you click on Jet Airways at Amazon.in, you will get upto 140 points for every Rs. 1,000 spent. You only need 5,000 miles to get a free flight on Jet.

For example recently these were the points I redeemed:
1) 1,800 Southwest Miles/Points - Dallas Love field to Chicago midway.

3) 5,000 Jet Airways Miles - Mumbai, India to Ahmedabad, India.
