A lot of people are unaware that Amazon allows charities to generate an affiliate link, which means the charity can earn a minimum of 5% for any order made after visiting their special referral link (in the UK). Those who are, like me, often tend to forget to actually visit the links regardless. For US visitors, it will redirect to smile when it is able to.
I decided to make this add-on to take the hassle out of it. When you visit Amazon the normal way, e.g. by Google search or typing 'amazon.co.uk' or 'amazon.com' into your address bar, this add-on will notice and automatically redirect you to a random selection of the following charities' affiliate links:
In tumultuous times, where people are shopping more & more online, I think this is a nice way to try to have a positive impact. I have some updates I shall make if people start to use this more--like checking how much will go to charity as you shop, and intercepting all requests to Amazon so even if you visit via a search result you will be routed via a charity's affiliate link in the background first.
A friend of mine uses this for all of the business' purchases and estimated that $20,000 or so was donated in ONE YEAR!

It'll also give you a native Chrome notification to let you know which one!
If you like the idea of this add-on, please share it with friends or whoever you can think of. It could generate a lot of money for a lot of great charities.
Much love

Extore is a team of professionals who are passionate about creating extensions for web browsers. This devotion also gives us opportunity to appreciate work of other people. We get inspired by useful, open source extensions made by developers all over the world. Our strong belief is that one should share helpful add-ons with others. That’s why we’d like to present you our ever-growing list of favourite extensions that have inspired us. Moreover, as you probably have already learned, sometimes struggling for the best brings an end to the good. Talking about add-ons it often turns out that an upgrade is worse then previous version. Also it can become really tricky to get back to the beloved version of your favourite extension. That’s why we’re going to make not only the latest, but all versions of our favourite (and we hope yours too) add-ons available for download. No more compromises, just stick to the version you really like!
