Stepsize chrome extension

Description

The Stepsize extension allows you to save code snippets as Gists from any web page in a few seconds. It’s perfect to go along with the Stepsize menu bar app – the fastest way to search, reuse, and create code snippets.

We believe in simplicity and have designed the extension accordingly.

The Stepsize icon is placed in the top right corner of any piece code. It’s there to remind you to invest in your future productivity.

Whenever you see a piece of code you’d like to save, just hover over the Stepsize icon and click Edit. You can then edit the code right there on the web page – you’ll feel like you have superpowers.

When you’re ready to save the snippet, hover over the Stepsize icon and click Save.

Adding a filename and description will make it easier to find the snippet later on with the Stepsize app. If you don’t have time, don’t worry – the app supports code search so you’ll still be able to find it.

Let Stepsize be your memory. Just code.

NOTE: This is a beta and the extension isn’t quite finished just yet. On some web pages, the code blocks aren’t detected properly. Please help us make the extension better by dropping us an email at [email protected] and flagging these pages – we’ll push a fix as soon as possible!
