Last year Chrome removed the much loved "Simplify Page" option during printing. Part of that functionality still exists but is just hidden from view. This extension just opens the current page using that piece of functionality then allowing you to print it. There are no options right now and no modifications or improvements have been done on top of that built in feature.
In other words if it doesn't work then Chrome has changed or the existing code just doesn't work well with whichever site you're trying to print.
