该扩展主要针对Linux下中文用户。Linux下Chrome用户可能会遇到如下问题：给Linux安装了微软宋体（simsun）后，部分网页显示为宋体（如人人网、京东商城）而非Chrome设置的文泉驿微米黑字体。该扩展强制让 Chrome 使用文泉驿微米黑/微软雅黑显示网页，解决了其他类似插件（Force Microsoft Yahei Font）使中文字体显示为文泉驿微米黑/微软雅黑，但同时导致英文字体异常难看的问题。
安装即用，不像 Stylish 之类全能样式扩展那样需要额外费心设置，
由于是指定 CSS，而非 JavaScript 遍历 DOM 修改样式，所以不占扩展进程，无须等待页面载入并修改重绘，不增加额外开销。
缺点和其他浏览器强制字体一样，webfont 和定义了衬线体的网页会失效。
该扩展修改自：Force Microsoft Yahei Font，向原作者shellexy表示感谢。另外还需要向文泉驿字体的制作者们表示感谢，谢谢给开源世界提供如此优秀的中文字体。
