The extension listens for chat messages and notifies you when a new chat message pops up in the chatbox. You don't need to Alt Tab to Chrome to view a chat message. You just allow the extension Notification permission and you're good to go.
IMPORTANT:
Disable mute-notifications-during-screen-share for the extension to work when screensharing is enabled. Copy this [chrome://flags/#mute-notifications-during-screen-share] and disable the option highlighted.
This extension doesn't track or send any sensitive info. Nothing is sent over the internet. So your data is safe and secure.
You need to allow notification and storage permission to the extension and notification permission to the Chrome browser in Windows/MacOS/Linux.
