PanicButton allows you to hide all tabs of the browser at the touch of a button. Tabs are saved as bookmarks in a separate folder. Then PanicButton changes color to green and shows the number of hidden tabs.
Subsequent clicking on PanicButton restores all hidden tabs.
If you do not want to restore tabs, just delete the Temporary Panic folder in the Other Chrome Bookmarks folder.
You can also take advantage of the convenience of hotkeys in PanicButton. Just press F4 to hide or restore the tabs
