FuseMind’s free browser extension augments your Google Scholar search results, giving you access to all the information you need to quickly and effectively select & put to use the most relevant papers. FuseMind lets you see what the community thinks about scholarly work, displaying paper-mentions found on Twitter, Reddit and StackExchange (more coming soon). Our browser extension lets you quickly explore papers citing and cited by the paper you’re checking out; as well as giving you similar paper suggestions. You can also download papers and explore authors’ other work (reference manager coming soon!).

Our browser extension provides you with our score for the scholarly resource you’re looking at. This score is calculated by using Machine Learning to analyse the emotional content of online-mentions of the paper/resource. This is essentially the equivalent of asking every (relevant) academic in the internet whether they recommend the paper or not! You can see how our score is calculated by hovering over it.
***Pre-launch prototype, all features are still undergoing testing. The quality of the score is expected to improve significantly over the next 2 weeks. We only cover papers indexed by ArXiv for now.

Moreover, as you probably have already learned, sometimes struggling for the best brings an end to the good. Talking about add-ons it often turns out that an upgrade is worse then previous version. Also it can become really tricky to get back to the beloved version of your favourite extension. That’s why we’re going to make not only the latest, but all versions of our favourite (and we hope yours too) add-ons available for download.
