Auto Refresh Blocker

Description

This extension stops webpages from using a <meta> element in the head section of the document to automatically reload. There is also an option to block the HTTP "Refresh" header. Pages that use javascript to reload can be added to a blacklist by pressing Alt-B or by right-clicking the icon. Blacklisted websites will be prevented from reloading by any method, including clicking the reload button (you will need to click it twice if you want to manually reload the page).

If the extension doesn't work:
1. open chrome://extensions and check that it is installed and enabled
2. open the "options" page and check that the "Disable Meta Refresh elements in pages" option is selected and that the address of the website you don't want to refresh is listed in the blacklist.

Note: the extension does not prevent redirection - if the address shown in the Chrome address bar changes when the page reloads then the extension will not prevent it reloading. Also, it only prevents reloading of the whole page. It will not prevent sub-frames within a page reloading.
