If you land a hit, a cross will be marked on their field, but if you miss, a dot will be placed to indicate a blank shot.

The classic version of Battleships Master includes 4 ships with one cell, 3 ships with 2 cells, 2 ships with 3 cells, and 1 ship with 4 cells. Your goal is to sink all of your opponent's ships before they sink yours, so you'll need to use all of your strategy and cunning to come out on top.
