Description

This extension works together with Xero to provide useful notes for specific contacts when you are preparing their sales invoices.

The contact names and notes are stored in a Google Spreadsheet that can be updated anytime to provide real-time notes at the time of invoice creation.

**FOR INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS, CLICK "HOW TO SET UP" ON THE EXTENSION'S POPUP.

Potential use cases include:

*Save notes about special prices or discounts for each customer
*Inform invoicing staff of what is to be included in the next invoice
*Ask invoice preparer to check credit status of customer before invoicing
*Delivery costs that need to be added to a specific client
*Anything else that would be useful to know about the customer when invoicing.

Xnotes is a simple tool and we will continue to develop it over time to make it even more useful.

Do you need Xnotes to do more? Get in touch now and we can customise it for your exact business needs. Potential modifications include but not limited to:

*Displaying contact's notes on any screen in Xero
*Automatically add new contacts to the Spreadsheet via Xero API
*Update contact notes via the popup
*Add notes to suppliers for generating POs e.g. standard delivery note for each supplier.

Hopefully, this functionality will come as default to Xero in future. If it does, then you will have all the notes ready to carry over into Xero, so this is hopefully only a temporary workaround.

What has inspired us?

Extore is a team of professionals who are passionate about creating extensions for web browsers. This devotion also gives us opportunity to appreciate work of other people. We get inspired by useful, open source extensions made by developers all over the world. Our strong belief is that one should share helpful add-ons with others. That’s why we’d like to present you our ever-growing list of favourite extensions that have inspired us. Moreover, as you probably have already learned, sometimes struggling for the best brings an end to the good. Talking about add-ons it often turns out that an upgrade is worse then previous version. Also it can become really tricky to get back to the beloved version of your favourite extension. That’s why we’re going to make not only the latest, but all versions of our favourite (and we hope yours too) add-ons available for download. No more compromises, just stick to the version you really like!
