The extension checks visited websites against the database of retired.appcited.net which lists websites marked as retired by domain owners. If a positive match is found a warning is displayed to the owner.
Therefore the extension mitigates fraudulent actions by malicious persona who grab recently unregistered domains, rebuilt the domain contents from available internet caches in order to steal personal data or distribute malware.
