If yes, here is a small extension that would make your life easy by adding a top-bar colored as red or green depending on environments.
Simply, define your sites in the options page and a top-bar, either red or green, will show on those sites.
Red indicating test environments & Green indicating LIVE/Production environments.
How to:
1. Click on extension on when you are the site
2. Select 'Mark as test' or 'Mark as Live'
3. Refresh the page and top-bar should appear indicating test or live
