Description

Modern New Tab Page is a highly customizable new tab replacement. You can organize your favorite sites into tiles and set their colors, icons. You can modify the background image, opacity and color. Choose from the built-in 26 color themes or make your own theme if you want to. Another key feature is to get news from your added sites through RSS and get notified right on their tiles. The smart Gmail tile can also show your latest email. Every time you open a new tab MNTP will show your favorite sites and the most recent updates from them.

This extension will ask for the following permissions:

- Read and change your bookmarks
This is required to get the list of your bookmarks so we can add the shortcuts to your new tab page.

- Read and change your navigation history
This is required to read your navigation history so we can add the shortcuts to your recently closed tabs.

- Management
This is required to get a list of your installed apps so we can add the shortcuts.

- Access to all websites
This permission allows the extension to make requests to external servers. This is necessary to download RSS files and display the latest news on your tiles and your most recent Gmail message.
All the information is collected from those servers to your computer.
We don't transmit any of it from your computer to anywhere else, therefore we cannot see it or use it for any other purpose.
We don't collect, store or transmit any personal or sensitive information.

Uninstall

You uninstall Modern New Tab like any other Crome extension. Go to chrome://extensions/ find Modern New Tab and click Disable or go into Details and find the Remove link at the bottom.
