Material New Tab is my take on new tab page in Google Chrome inspired by Google's Material Design and built using the Polymer framework.
Extension has 4 different sections:
- Home: Provides easy access to bookmarks, installed apps, calendar agenda, clock and Password Generator (my other project used to generate secure passwords on the fly: password-generator.webapp.sk)
- News: Allows to add easily customizable RSS news feeds (eg. Google News, but any RSS feed will do).
- Youtube: Shows you latest Youtube videos from your Youtube home page.
- Twitter: Shows you latest tweets from your Twitter home timeline.
Extension requires you to create a simple account (only email address and password are needed) in order to synchronize your custom settings through a simple Firebase database.
